We built a series of competition applications to support Foster’s on-pack promotions, in partnership with our sister agency TWELVE. The sites were developed as bespoke .net applications built in line with strict coding and security requirements provided by the client.
The promotions involved a significant number of external integrations, which were by necessity “no fail” to ensure that consumers receive the correct information as per competition regulations. These include integration with an internal Age Gating API provided by parent company Heineken, integration of all consumer data with a secure 3rd-party database and integration with an API provided by the competition risk insurer to independently verify if each entry has won and confirm which prize to display to the consumer as an “instant win” notification.
The initial “Epic Experiences” promotion ran from May-August 2016. A second “For The Thirsty” promotion ran from July-Nov 2016.
